Open Question: What happened to my CD-Drivers? they don’t work…?
My PC has 2 cd-drivers, ASUS CB-5216A and ASUS CD-S520/A, but both of them don’t work, and there are no cd-driver icons in my computer. I can see them in “Device Manager”, but there is a black exclamation mark in a yellow background on their icons.
When I right click on them and go to “properties”, I see this confusing note in the “Device status”:
“Windows successfully loaded driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)” !!!
[I disabled them, went to “add new hardware” and added them again, but they still don’t work.]
Please, please help me.
I cannot do anything.
