Resolved Question: Gallop, New Mexico is a strange name for a town. Any other towns out there named after a verb?
Is there a Stumble, Tennessee? How about Trot, Ohio? Or maybe: Drool, Vermont? But I made these up. Just as you suspected. I’m talking about real verb-based town or city names…anywhere across the USA. Or Canada, of course. I love Canada. If any of you British Isles, Australia, or New Zealand folks want to join in the fun, please do so.
OK, I admit my oversight. Thanks for correcting me. But, even if we forget Gallup, ARE THERE ANY TOWNS OUT THERE named with a verb? Of course I could look this up on my own, but half the fun of YA is the amazing experts you bump into just about every day.
