Open Question: Spain/Gibraltar/Ibiza/Morocco or Greek Isles/Turkey for single backpacker?
I’m 24 and trying to decide where to take a 3 week trip. I’ll be alone and want a nice mix of nightlife, natural beauty, history, etc. I won’t be spending a huge amount of time on beaches-I’m more inclined to hire a motor scooter and cruise around an island stopping at interesting towers, cafes, and really anything that catches my eye. My budget is flexible but hopefully not too much more than $2k. When possible, I’ll stay in hostels.
Option 1:
Barcelona
Valencia
Ibiza
Gibraltar
Morocco (places TBD)
Option 2:
Istanbul
Cappadoccia
Ephesus
Santorini
Some other Greek isle (Crete, Rhodes, or somewhere else)
