Open Question: Should English not B considered a Germanic language anymore.?
Seeing it has been so bastardized over though the centuries though various invasions to the British Isles by various peoples,later with the global expansion of the British empire in much later centuries throughout the world to every continent. But it’s still difficult for an average North American English speaker to, for example, to understand a fluent English speaker from say, India or Singapore!
