Open Question: Is this guy obsessively in love with me?
I have knowen this guy for almost 5 years I will call him by his first letter of his name J we only talk at his work place while he works he works in a large grocery store other then that i don’t invite him over to my home or anything else.Well we were friends and these past two years things he has escalted and just recently I stopped being his friend he does not know this though I have not told him.Over the past two years here’s things that have happened-
1.Turns red about 90% of the time when he sees me.And one time he came out of the bathroom seen me and his face turn extremely red.There are also times when I return bottles if he knows I am back there the bathrooms are near the bottle return he will come back there looks at me as he walks to the bathroom door as he opens he will look at me the entire time until he is in the bathroom,he would be in there about 5-10 minutes comes out and says hi to me and I will say hi back.
2.He says hi to me but at times he will make sure others will hear him say hi to me.If he sees me in the store he makes sure to say hi to me.One time in the freezer isle I got some ice cream and I was trying to decide on another one and he asked if there was a certain flavor I was looking for and I said no I am trying to decide what other one to get he asked if I ever had the drumstick ice cream I said no he said it’s good so I said i will try it as I went to get it he said I can put it in the cart for you I said thank-you however after he put it in the cart he started to get close to me as he was talking and I started moving back well he kept coming towards me and I kept moving back we ended up going around the cart twice and employees and costumers saw this.
3.There was two different times that I was talking to friends once was on a cell phone and he saw me I saw him and he gave me a really angry look this was about a year ago.The other time was also about a year ago and I was talking to another friend who also works there and I felt someone starring at me I turned and look and he was looking at me starring very angry.
Just recent:
On February 13,2012 I decided to take my friends advice and not talk to this guy that’s been doing on of this.I went into the grocery store to get valentine party supplies for my son’s school party and as I did this I saw J and he said hi to me and I ignored him as my friend said I should do.After getting the groceries needed for the party I headed over to the other side of the store he then was coming out of another area he saw me I quickly looked away.After that I did not know where he was.I checked out came out of the store saw J at the entrance door so I looked the other way to advoid eye contact and I started loading up the groceries as I did this I noticed that J kept starring at me the entire time I loaded groceries as I sat the cart by the entrance and as I got in the van as my husband started to drive I looked in the side mirror and noticed that J was still starring at me then he threw his cirettate he was smoking down and he walked back in the store.The adivce my friend gave me didn’t work made it worse.On February 14th went into the store to get some things J saw me he waited a second then said hi to me I decided to say hi back.I figured it escalted by me not saying hi so it will escalte when I do say hi a catch 22 is how I look at it so I figured I will say hi but not have any conversations with him.Then on February 28th went into the store J saw me he smiled so big with his teeth showing and his look was like he was mesmerized and obessively in love with me I did smile back,my mom was with me she needed yogurt so we went by there he said hi to me I said hi back then as he took the cart back he looked at me and winked at me he’s never done this ever out of the 5 years we knowen each other.Then he came back out and I was telling my mom I was going to be busy when I work tonight he knows about my work I always work Wenesdays 4-8 pm and other days he knows I always work 4-8pm he knows I work at Pizza Hut that I answer phones,and work on fryer he knows all this because I told him in the past.Well anyway continuing on Feb.28th I was answering phones when I answered this one call I greeted no answer,I greeted again no answer just deep breathing then a moan and more deep breathing it was like there was a cloth over the phone to keep the deep breathing and the moan quiet but not to quiet so I would hear.I put my thumb over the talking part handed the phone to mgt.and ran to the bathroom crying.The person on phone does not know I was crying.Next day I had to go to the store J saw me his face turned red he said hi to me I said hi back.I acted like nothing happened,I know it was him that called.This was not the first time he has called there has been two other times on two different Wednesdays.I’m worried and deep down scared that he might try to take it further like rape me.My question to everyone-is J obessively in l
One other thing Christmas 2010,2011 and his birthday May 2010,2011 bought him a total of 9 gifts last Christmas gift also had treats beside gifts.However with all this happening which started about two years ago I decided no more gifts after this past Christmas 2011 for Christmas and birthday for him.Also I stopped having coversations with him if he says hi I say hi and that’s it.
The latest things happened on February 13,2012,February 14,2012 and February 28,2012 not just a year ago just recent.
