Open Question: I’m getting married, how do I incorporate 3 fathers?
I’m 28.
I have a biological dad who wasn’t there growing up, but who came around in the last 9 years of my life.
I have an ex-step dad who was there growing up and who still is, he does have another family of his own now, but I still call him my dad and I’m still his daughter.
I also have my moms husband of whom I’ve known for 10 years now and he’s always been there if I ever needed anything at all.
I’m very fortunate to have all these great men in my life, but how do I incorporate them all into my wedding? I never thought it would be this difficult, but now that it’s time to actually decide, I have no clue on what to do. I was thinking of doing short dances with each, but I really hate that idea, and then I would need to pick out three different songs. That is just adding more stress, then I would need to decide as to which one will go first, and on top of all that who will walk me down the isle?
This is a very tough process for me, but any suggestions are welcome!
