Open Question: Are the British Isles (with the exception of England) basically pre-Roman Spain?
Referring to the people.
I think the Scottish, Scots-Irish and Irish (not too sure about the Welsh, they seem more like Romans, again I’m look forward for answers) are true Spaniards. The ones who came from Iberia before Rome conquered them
To me Celt means Spaniard
Scottish, Irish, Scots-Irish, Welsh (though I’m not sure too much) are all the Spaniards that left Iberia for the Isles well before the Roman Empire ever started
The Spaniards in Spain today are not true Spaniards in my opinion
They are basically a mixture of Celt/Roman/Semitic/Arab.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a Scot can speak some Spanish
Mark
I’m not talking about the language, but Spanish has some roots in Gaelic
