Open Question: Am i just paranoid about the future?
so my parents are divorced. i dont talk to my dad. dont try and say oh you should try to talk to him cause its not happening. hes done too many things in my life that he cant take back. my mom has had a boyfriend for a while now and hes practically become part of our family. he is so nice and sincere and funny and a good role model for the rest of my siblings. my poppy, my mothers dad, lives with us. hes 76 and i am verryyyy close to him. he has always been the fater figure in my life. when im older and married there is no way that i want my dad to walk down that isle with me. i have always said it will be my poppy but i am afraid if he doesnt live that long. would it be weird if my moms boyfriend did? im close to him and probably will be even closer years from now…what do you think? oh and the only reason why he and my mom arent married is because according to the state my parents arent officially divorced so my mom cant get married to him..otherwise there woulda been a wedding 3 years ago
